At Essendon, Computing is taught through the structured and engaging Kapow curriculum. Our aim is to help pupils become confident, creative and responsible users of technology. Children develop practical skills in coding, digital literacy and using a variety of software and devices.
Lessons are hands-on and carefully sequenced, so pupils build secure knowledge of how computers work, how to stay safe online and how to create digital content with increasing independence.
Our curriculum prepares pupils for an ever-changing digital world, giving them the skills, confidence and understanding they need for future learning and everyday life.
