Essendon School Association uses a website called Classlist to keep track of contact details and make it easy for us to communicate with parents and for parents to communicate with the ESA and each other. Please join us at the Essendon School Association Classlist community by following the link below:
Forthcoming events are put into the events listing on Classlist as they are confirmed. Those which we are trying to advertise to a wider audience, such as our May Fayre, Christmas Shopping Nights and Bag2School are also advertised via our Facebook page.
With a new school year comes the need to overhaul our plans. We need more parents and staff to join us in our efforts, and we need YOUR input into the events we run and the ways in which we raise funds. Get in touch via Classlist with one of the Classlist Ambassadors if you have a great idea that you can help become a reality or if you can offer help or expertise.
As they are confirmed ESA meeting dates are published via Classlist.

The ESA is Essendon C of E (VC) Primary School's parent teacher association. The ESA is primarily a fund raising body, but equally important is it's contribution to the overall life of the school.
All parents of children registered at the school and anyone over 18yrs with an interest in helping our association can be a member of the ESA. There is a core committee of trustees and a wider team of members, we arrange to all meet regularly to plan and organise events and to decide how to spend the money raised.
Events are varied and range from a Parents Welcome Evening at the start of each new academic year, an annual Summer Fayre and regular children's discos to Pamper Evenings, Children's Talent Show, Film Nights and Roller Skating Discos. All are organised by a very hard working group of parents who are always looking for others to join in and lend a hand at functions.
Last year we contributed funds to the new projector system for the hall and a new area in the school called Wildewood where a wasted space became a beautiful inspiring place for younger pupils to pick their reading books, and use as a break=out space. In the past we have raising funds to help towards the building of our new School Library, to the new school gates as well as meeting the cost of coach hire for school trips. We also contributed to the cost of the school bags that were new to all pupils in September 2015. This was at the school councils (pupils) request.
The ESA are always working and supporting in the background.
Below you will find a link to a page which details our previous events and also some links to pages used to promote some of these events.
