From 10th - 14th February, Essendon recognised Safer Internet Day. This provides children with the opportunity to celebrate the amazing things technology can do, and to also think about any worries we might have.
This year, the children learnt about online scams and used the following acrostic to help identify them:
S - If something seems too good to be true.
C - If someone contacts you, when you weren't expecting it, like in a message or email.
A - If someone or something asks for your personal information.
M - If someone asks you for money or to trade with you.
